Valtronic Technologies (Holding) SA announces a change in leadership at the Group level.
Dr. Laurent Bataillard will be joining Valtronic as the new Group CEO effective October 1st, 2024.
Mr. Bataillard joins Valtronic from Resonetics, where he held the position of VP of Operations Europe & Middle East. Before joining Resonetics in 2019, Laurent had served in various management roles at companies including Zimmer Surgical and Heraeus Medical. Laurent is well-known and respected in our industry and holds both a master’s degree as well as a PhD in in Physics from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) in Lausanne.
Valtronic’s current CEO, Rainer Platz, had announced his desire to give his career a new direction earlier this year after nearly 9 years with the company. “Working with our teams and customers on technologies and innovations for next-generation devices in MedTech, Diagnostics and Advanced Industrial has always been incredibly rewarding. I wish Mr. Bataillard the best of success in his leadership of this truly exceptional company”.
